That reality didn’t sit well with Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who went on The View and blamed Trump’s rising approval on voter ignorance.
“My takeaway is just like the election, we’ve got to do better at education,” Crockett ranted. “People don’t understand, but you will understand when those hospitals in rural America start closing down even more, you will understand when you don’t have your Social Security, you will understand your Medicaid, your Medicare goes away, you will understand when planes continue to fall out of the sky.”
Crockett’s wild claims ignored Trump’s actual policies, instead pushing the latest Democrat strategy: blaming him for anything and everything, from Medicare to plane crashes.
Desperate Democrats Try to Blame Trump for Plane Crashes
The Democratic Congresswoman took her attacks even further, suggesting Trump was responsible for aviation accidents because his administration made cuts at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Democrats have long tried to tie Trump to unrelated disasters, and Crockett’s remarks fit the pattern. But there’s zero evidence that Trump had anything to do with recent airline incidents, including an American Airlines collision with an Army helicopter at Reagan National Airport.
It’s a desperate attempt to smear Trump as an unfit leader, even as Americans grow more confident in his leadership.
‘Sleepy Joe’ vs. ‘Loud and Ridiculous’
Crockett didn’t stop there. She tried to make the case that President Joe Biden’s low-energy leadership was actually a good thing.
“Soon you will understand that it is important to have somebody who isn’t loud and ridiculous and maybe Sleepy Joe is what we wanted because we could at least sleep at night,” she declared.
That’s a hard sell for voters dealing with record inflation, economic uncertainty, and foreign policy disasters under Biden’s watch. While Democrats push the idea that Biden is a calming presence, millions of Americans are struggling under his policies.
Crockett’s Unhinged Attack on Elon Musk
In addition to bashing Trump, Crockett also took aim at Elon Musk, slamming him over government spending cuts. She lashed out at SpaceX and Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for shutting down unnecessary spending.
“So my concern is, this guy has decided that after moneys were appropriated, to literally turn off the spigot of money just at will because he wanted to do it,” she fumed. “Who is to say that if we enter into good faith negotiations, and we get some of the things that we feel like are good for the American people that he won’t just do what he wants to do and ignore the stuff he doesn’t want to do?”

Crockett’s complaint? That Musk is helping cut bloated government programs. For Democrats, endless spending is the goal, and anyone who gets in the way of that must be attacked.
