Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana is sounding the alarm over the Republican Party’s financial position in one of the most closely watched Senate contests of the 2026 election cycle.
Kennedy says Senate Republicans simply do not have enough money set aside to adequately defend Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as he battles Democratic state Rep. James Talarico for the open Senate seat.
