John Fetterman Blasts His Own Party Over Israel

Sen. John Fetterman is once again breaking ranks with his own party—this time by directly calling out what he sees as a deeply troubling, anti-Israel faction growing inside the modern Democratic Party.

The Pennsylvania Democrat did not mince words as he pushed back against recent remarks from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who suggested that the United States should consider placing conditions on military aid to Israel. Her comments, delivered while attending the Munich Security Conference, quickly ignited backlash from Democrats and Republicans alike.

During her remarks overseas, Ocasio-Cortez criticized America’s long-standing, unconditional support for Israel, claiming it had contributed to what she described as a “genocide” in Gaza. That characterization immediately drew sharp condemnation from Fetterman, who has consistently defended Israel’s right to defend itself following the brutal Hamas terror attacks.

Appearing on “Saturday in America,” Fetterman forcefully rejected the narrative being pushed by progressive activists. “There was never any genocide in Gaza, absolutely, and there shouldn’t ever be any conditions for aid for Israel, because they were in an existential war,” Fetterman said.
