The controversy began during a speech given by Walz to the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. Walz, who was recently chosen as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, aimed to reinforce his qualifications amidst ongoing scrutiny. “In 2005, I felt the call of duty again, this time of being serviced to my country in the halls of Congress.
