On national television, Crockett accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents of being the modern equivalent of “slave patrols.” At a time when assaults on federal law enforcement are skyrocketing, her remarks are not just reckless — they’re deadly.
Crockett’s Dangerous Comparison
During an appearance on MSNBC’s Velshi, Crockett unleashed one of the most inflammatory attacks ever aimed at immigration officers.
“As somebody who understands history, when I see ICE, I see slave patrols,” she declared.
She didn’t stop there. Crockett doubled down, saying, “If you know the history of policing in this country, then you understand that they were born out of slave patrols.”
