Across the country, universities are already seizing on Kirk’s assassination as the perfect excuse to impose new restrictions on student groups, speakers, and events that challenge left-wing orthodoxy.
Seizing a Tragedy
Inez Feltscher Stepman from the Independent Women’s Forum warned what was coming almost immediately.
“This assassination will accomplish what the left has tried to do for so long: significantly shut down conservative speech on college campuses,” Stepman wrote on X.
