Callaghan claimed during the interview that the backlash didn’t just come from angry citizens. It came from one of the most powerful men in Hollywood.
“My only really famous Hollywood friend is actor Jack Black, we used to be neighbors in Los Angeles,” Callaghan said.
“George Clooney is blowing his phone up, being like, ‘If you don’t kick your bandmember out of the band and, like, publicly denounce this guy’ — like I don’t know what the consequences were, but it was kind of like, ‘You’re out!’ Out of what, we don’t know.”
What followed was a rapid series of carefully worded statements and a tour cancellation that bore all the marks of political damage control.
Shortly after the incident, Jack Black posted to social media:
“I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.”
“After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold.”
The band then abruptly canceled all upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. Gass later apologized, calling his words “highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake.”
But if Callaghan’s account is accurate, this wasn’t about personal regret—it was George Clooney running interference to protect the Democrats from another public relations disaster.
Callaghan described the situation bluntly:
“And so his hand was basically forced to be like, ‘Oh, sorry, my bandmember has serious mental-health problems. We’re breaking up the band for now. The tour is canceled.’”
This wasn’t about mental health. It was about narrative control. The joke pierced the mask of civility the Left wears and revealed what’s lurking underneath—a growing acceptance of political violence. And Clooney, one of the Left’s top influencers, allegedly jumped into action to snuff it out.
As if that weren’t wild enough, the interview prompted a volcanic response from none other than Hunter Biden, who melted down when discussing Clooney’s involvement.
“F*** him! F*** him and everybody around him,” Biden exploded.
“I agree with Quentin Tarantino. Fing George Clooney is not a fing actor. He is a f***ing, like, I don’t know what he is. He’s a brand.”
Biden, who’s never shied away from public meltdowns, continued his tirade:
“And by the way and God bless him, you know what? He supposedly treats his friends really well… What do you have to do with fing anything? Why do I have to fing listen to you?”
Hunter claimed Clooney’s outrage wasn’t just about a joke—it was connected to his anger that President Biden wouldn’t endorse the ICC arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, which Clooney’s wife Amal helped push.
“He was bitching to the White House staff, the senior staff that he was so angry that the president would criticize the arrest warrant that was executed for Netanyahu,” Hunter revealed.
The deeper you go, the more obvious it becomes: this wasn’t about protecting a band or even saving face. It was about controlling the political narrative, shielding the Democrat elite from exposure, and hiding the truth about the dangerous sentiments spreading among their supporters.
What happened with Tenacious D is a textbook example of how the Democrat machine operates. Someone on the inside speaks too freely, the mask slips, and suddenly Hollywood power players are on the phone orchestrating a cleanup.
Jack Black and Kyle Gass were partners for decades, but when the narrative was at risk, friendship didn’t matter. Silence the problem. Destroy the evidence. Move on.
Neither Black nor Clooney has denied the allegations or responded to media inquiries. Tenacious D remains dormant, and Black simply said a reunion may happen “when it feels right.”
But with the truth coming out, maybe it won’t be Clooney who decides when that time is. Maybe, for once, the American people will.
