Donald Trump, a former U.S. president, achieved a significant agreement over the American military’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. By May 1, 2021, troops were to be returned home as per the agreement.
For a potential photo opportunity, Biden decided to time the pullout for September 11, 2021, which is most likely to fall on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Unfortunately, moving the withdrawal date forward by four months coincided with the summertime fighting period in Afghanistan.

After the Taliban quickly took control of Afghanistan in August 2021, there was turmoil and a rapid exodus.
Republicans have been angered by Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s refusal to give them a telegram of disapproval from the American embassy in Kabul. Concerns were expressed in this cable regarding the Biden administration’s strategy for leaving Afghanistan.
Mike McCaul, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has stated his support for a vote on a criminal referral for contempt of Congress against Blinken. This comes after Blinken declined to send a cable to Congress. The well-known hawk McCaul thinks this action is required and is prepared to take it.
“I don’t take this lightly because a Secretary of State’s never been held in contempt by Congress before,” McCaul stated. “And I think the Secretary realizes that and the gravity. They probably prefer not to go down this route as well. But if they do not comply, we’re prepared to move forward next week with a markup for resolution of contempt.”
During a recent conversation, McCaul warned Blinken of an upcoming inevitable event.
“The Department is now in violation of its legal obligation to produce these documents and must do so immediately,” McCaul wrote to Blinken last week. “Should the Department fail to comply with its legal obligation, the Committee is prepared to take the necessary steps to enforce its subpoena, including holding you in contempt of Congress and/or initiating a civil enforcement proceeding.”
The botched departure of Afghanistan remains a huge military setback and a point of national embarrassment for the US.
The only person to blame in this scenario is Joe Biden.
Currently, the administration is striving to hide the truth.
This whole Biden admin is a complete failure. He and his staff does very little for the whole country. They seem to pick small groups in the country to help out. But never what’s good for 330,000,000 people….!!
