A Texas Democrat is making national headlines for all the wrong reasons after unleashing a shocking tirade on CNN — and the liberal network didn’t even try to stop her.
During a Wednesday evening interview with host Erin Burnett, Texas State Representative Jolanda Jones openly threatened violence against Republicans while bragging about her “hood” background. Jones, who is running for Congress in Texas’ 18th District, appeared completely comfortable making graphic statements on live television, while Burnett sat by in silence.
“I’m from the hood, okay!? So when the bully comes like – if there are no rules you have to figure it out so Donald Trump has changed things,” Jones declared.
The Democrat lawmaker claimed that her party’s struggles with working-class and Black voters stem from a failure to fight dirty enough. “And I think that’s why Democrats are losing black people. That’s why they’re losing poor people,” she continued.
