Ilhan Omar Under Fire After $250M Fraud Case Twist

A convicted figure at the center of one of Minnesota’s largest pandemic-era fraud investigations is now making explosive claims involving a sitting member of Congress, adding a new political dimension to an already sprawling federal case.

Aimee Bock, described by prosecutors as the “mastermind” behind the alleged $250 million COVID-era meal fraud scheme tied to Feeding Our Future, is now claiming that Rep. Ilhan Omar was aware of the massive operation. Bock was convicted in March 2025 on multiple federal charges, including conspiracy, bribery, and wire fraud, after authorities said she helped facilitate fraudulent reimbursement claims under a federal child nutrition program during the pandemic.

Now awaiting sentencing at Sherburne County Jail, Bock made the remarks during a recent video interview, where she directly raised questions about what Omar may have known at the time.

“I struggle to believe that she wouldn’t have known,” Bock said of Omar.
