Another day, another Democrat caught red-handed breaking the law — and then lying about it.
Last Friday, chaos erupted at the Delaney Hall detention center in New Jersey when Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, alongside House Democrats LaMonica McIver, Bob Menendez Jr., and Bonnie Watson Coleman, stormed the facility in a stunt now being called an “ICE-surrection.” The Gateway Pundit first reported on the incident, where bodycam footage showed the lawmakers aggressively confronting ICE officers.
Despite the dramatic spin from the left-wing media, their narrative is collapsing fast under the weight of the facts — and the law.
After footage surfaced showing Rep. Bob Menendez Jr. and others yelling at, jabbing, and even laying hands on ICE agents, Menendez tried to defend the disgraceful behavior. He attempted to cite federal law, claiming he had the right to barge in unannounced. Menendez said:
“No matter what this Administration tells the American people, the law is very clear: Members of Congress have a legal right to enter any DHS detention facility to conduct oversight without prior notice – something I’ve done twice this year without issue.
