After years of dragging its feet on illegal immigration, the Biden administration is suddenly playing tough guy—but many see right through the last-minute charade.
This week, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) out of Dallas orchestrated the deportation of 122 Chinese nationals in a high-stakes flight back to the People’s Republic of China. This wasn’t a routine operation. It was a high-risk charter packed with some of the worst criminals imaginable.
“Through our interagency partnerships and coordination across ICE field offices, we have successfully removed these individuals, many who were convicted of egregious crimes,” said Josh Johnson, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Dallas acting Field Office Director.
Murderers, Rapists, and Smugglers—Sent Home at Last
Among those removed were convicted murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, and human smugglers. Just a few examples: a 47-year-old convicted of murder, a 49-year-old busted for trafficking drugs, and a 27-year-old found guilty of rape. Also onboard was a 50-year-old woman convicted of bribery and a 55-year-old male tied to human smuggling.
