A tenacious reporter trailed Hunter Biden through the corridors of Congress on Wednesday morning during a House Oversight Committee hearing about contempt of Congress. The reporter asked him directly if he used crack cocaine.
The audacious journalist urged Hunter to approach the Oversight Committee among a throng of reporters and aides. At last, Hunter, who had been staring straight ahead, turned to face a young guy who was recording and asking him pointed questions.

“Hunter, what is your favorite type of crack?” the reporter asks. “Are you on crack today?”

During a question-and-answer period, the reporter rudely cut off Hunter and lawyer Abbe Lowell, implying that they had more to say.
“What kind of crack do you normally smoke, Mr. Biden?” The man yelled as Lowell tried to calm the throng.

Hunter quickly departed the room with his counsel, throwing the session into disarray. The rationale offered by Chair James Comer (R-KY), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and other Republicans—who thought Hunter ought to be charged with a crime for missing his testimony—was obviously offensive to them. Rep. Greene yelled at Hunter as he was walking away, preventing her from asking him about the financial ties of his family.
“Excuse me, Hunter. Apparently, you’re afraid of my words?” made fun of the Georgia congressman.
The specifics of the hearing are still up for negotiation between the committee leaders and the president’s son’s legal team. Hunter, who was first served with a subpoena, has shown initiative by asking for public access to the hearing. But Hunter held his own news conference after Rep. Comer insisted on holding the original testimony in private. He voiced a number of grievances against the House GOP, former President Donald Trump, and those he felt had damaged his character during the conference.
Hunter is expected to appear in Los Angeles federal court on Thursday for an arraignment over fresh tax fraud allegations presented by special counsel David Weiss. Since taking office, the prosecutor for Delaware has actively sought justice outside of his district, which has put him at conflict with prosecutors who support Biden and the Justice Department, which was prepared to dismiss all charges prior to the disclosure of whistleblowers who claimed political involvement.

The House GOP intends to impeach President Biden in its entirety, claiming that he unlawfully benefited from his time in office through his son’s business transactions. One component of their plan is the probe into Hunter. In response to Hunter’s business transactions, several family members—including President Biden’s brother James Biden and his wife Sara—have been invited to testify over how they received hundreds of thousands of dollars, some of which ended up in President Biden’s personal bank account.
