According to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, the United States has “people on the ground” who will help Israeli authorities “with intelligence and planning” for prospective operations including hostage rescue efforts.
According to sources consulted by The Messenger, elite soldiers, often known as “door kickers,” are sent in when all other options have failed.
Added President Joe Biden: “I have directed my team to work with their Israeli counterparts on every aspect of the hostage crisis, including sharing intelligence and deploying experts from across the United States government to consult with and advise Israeli counterparts on hostage recovery efforts.”
