Sitting down with the CBS journalist, Harris began discussing her plans as a presidential candidate and touching on policies that are still unclear to a large portion of the American public. Instead of offering clarity, Harris meandered into what many are calling “nonsensical” remarks, particularly about the Middle East, a region teetering on the brink of war.

“The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen,” Harris said, stumbling through her response. Her remarks did little to shed light on the administration’s foreign policy approach, leaving viewers and pundits puzzled.
