With Election Day fast approaching, the Harris-Walz campaign has shifted gears, urging supporters to brace for a multi-day wait on final results. Former Obama campaign official Jon Cooper, in an X post, relayed the campaign’s guidance for a calm approach to the drawn-out process, underscoring that early fluctuations may not indicate final outcomes.

Cooper’s post highlighted the unique circumstances of this year’s election. “I just got off a Zoom call with the Harris campaign, and I want to share this info with my followers,” Cooper wrote on Friday. He continued, “We’re in a good position to win, but this election may not play out like recent ones have. Late polls will be all over the map. Votes will be counted slowly, and the lead in key states may fluctuate over the course of Tuesday night, Wednesday morning, and throughout the days to follow.”
