Martin’s investigation is zeroing in on Graves’ misuse of the 1512(c)(2) obstruction statute — a charge critics say was stretched far beyond its intent to punish Trump supporters for daring to protest.
Word spread quickly that Martin had no patience for political witch hunts. Reports reveal he even humiliated a batch of Biden’s DOJ loyalists by demoting them to handle low-level misdemeanor cases in D.C. Superior Court.
As Politico admitted, “Those demoted include John Crabb and Elizabeth Aloi, who prosecuted contempt of Congress cases that sent Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to jail for four months apiece. They include Jason McCullough, who helped lead the team that sent top Proud Boys leaders Enrique Tarrio, Joe Biggs and Ethan Nordean to prison… And they include Kathryn Rakoczy, who was a lead prosecutor in the Jan. 6 cases of Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and more than a dozen of his allies…”
Now, the Left is going into full-blown panic mode. Furious Democrats, knowing they can’t beat Martin fairly, are launching a coordinated smear campaign to torpedo his nomination. Their goal? Block Martin in the Senate — despite Democrats holding a minority — and install a handpicked replacement under a sketchy backdoor scheme.
Here’s the game plan: if the Senate drags its feet past the May 20 deadline, radical Judge James Boasberg, infamous for acting like he’s the “real” president, would get to name Martin’s replacement himself. No surprise, Boasberg is a favorite among D.C.’s liberal elites.
Unfortunately, some spineless Republicans seem eager to help Democrats sabotage Martin. Lara Logan sounded the alarm on X, listing four GOP Senators who may betray their voters: Susan Collins, Thom Tillis, John Cornyn, and Bill Cassidy.
And guess who else is rumored to be sharpening the knife? None other than Mitch McConnell. If true, it would be yet another slap in the face to the America First movement.
