But in 2022, Gabbard had enough. She walked away from the Democratic Party, denouncing its radical woke agenda and reckless foreign interventions.
A Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. military with overseas deployment experience, Gabbard has long championed an America First approach to foreign policy. Like many service members, she aligns with Donald Trump’s stance against endless wars.
Gabbard has been an outspoken critic of Joe Biden’s foreign policy blunders, including the disastrous U.S. involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war. She has also condemned unconstitutional government surveillance and the warrantless wiretapping of American citizens.
Despite her military service and track record, Gabbard has faced relentless attacks from the Left. Her opposition to Barack Obama’s regime change wars in Libya and Syria earned her the label of “Russian asset,” a smear Democrats weaponized in an attempt to derail her nomination for DNI.
Even after being confirmed by the Senate, the attacks have not stopped. The left-wing media continues to recycle the tired “Russia, Russia, Russia” narrative in an effort to undermine Trump’s efforts to bring peace.
Gabbard recently appeared on The Ingraham Angle to call out the Democrats’ lies.
“President Trump is the peace President, and he is putting the interest of the American people and our taxpayers first and foremost – something that he promised the American people that he would deliver,” Gabbard said. “He has been very consistent and very focused on keeping those promises and delivering very real and historically quick results.”

Ingraham then aired a clip of the corporate media peddling the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Gabbard wasted no time setting the record straight.
“You know, we’ve heard this before over and over and over again – this same tired tactic that anyone who dares to stand for peace, as President Trump has, as I have, as J.D. Vance has, and so many others have saying that we need to end the killing, the senseless loss of life that this tragic war has waged for years now,” Gabbard said. “They accuse us of being Russian assets or puppets of Putin.”
“It really is quite disgusting,” she added.
Gabbard took aim at the establishment warmongers and the military-industrial complex, exposing their vested interest in prolonging endless conflicts.
“They throw out these smears and lies and accusations that I think the American people are seeing right through,” she said.
And she’s right.
Americans are increasingly distrustful of the media. Polls consistently show that the public sees through the deception and propaganda peddled by the corporate press. The Democrats’ playbook of false narratives and smear campaigns is wearing thin, and the American people are waking up to the truth.
