The grieving father of a young woman brutally executed inside a South Carolina rental home is demanding accountability, tearing into Democrats for policies that he believes empower repeat criminals. His fiery testimony shook lawmakers on Monday and later made headlines during a primetime appearance on Fox News.
Earlier this year, 22-year-old college student Logan Federico from Waxhaw, North Carolina, was enjoying a weekend with friends in Columbia, South Carolina. That trip ended in tragedy when a violent felon broke into the rental home, forced his way into her room, and executed her in cold blood.
Police identified the killer as 30-year-old Alexander Dickey, a career criminal already tied to a spree of burglaries, car thefts, and credit card fraud. Instead of being behind bars, he was free to continue preying on innocent people.
