Florida Republicans Just Delivered a BIG Surprise!

President Trump has strongly endorsed Luna’s re-election effort, describing the Florida congresswoman as “an America First Patriot and Tremendous Champion for the wonderful people of Florida’s 13th Congressional District.”

Trump also praised Luna as “a true MAGA Warrior” who is “working tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Support our incredible Military/Veterans, Defend our always under siege Second Amendment, and Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.”

The president made his position even clearer by calling Luna “a very good friend, fighter, and WINNER” and giving her his “Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election.”

Trump added that Luna “WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN.”

Trump’s political team also highlighted Luna among the candidates receiving his endorsement ahead of the Republican primary, underscoring her place within the broader America First coalition.

Support for Luna has also come from Republican officials closer to home.

Pinellas County Commissioner Kathleen Peters praised the congresswoman’s focus on representing the interests of her district.

“Time and again, Congresswoman Luna has proven that she puts Pinellas County and Florida’s 13th Congressional District first,” Peters said.

Pinellas County Commissioner Brian Scott offered a similarly direct assessment of Luna’s record, saying she “doesn’t just talk about serving our community; she gets the job done.”

State Rep. Berny Jacques also described Luna as “a fearless champion for the people of Pinellas County,” pointing to her work promoting conservative principles, demanding greater transparency and accountability in government, and advocating for veterans and working families.

The congresswoman has also received support from Competitive Markets Action, which cited her opposition to policies it believes could damage American family farmers or increase foreign influence over the nation’s agricultural sector.

Luna’s path to Congress was far from conventional.

Born in California in 1989, Luna overcame a difficult upbringing before serving in the U.S. Air Force from 2009 through 2018 as an airfield management specialist. During her military career, she earned the Air Force Achievement Medal.

Following her service, Luna became increasingly involved in conservative activism. She worked on Hispanic engagement for Turning Point USA and later chaired Hispanic initiatives at PragerU. She also became an outspoken advocate on issues involving human trafficking, illegal immigration, and border security.

Luna made history as the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from Florida.

Since arriving in Washington, she has developed a reputation as a combative conservative willing to challenge both Democrats and the political establishment. Luna has earned a 98% lifetime score from Heritage Action and currently serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Her legislative priorities have included the SAVE Act and other election integrity measures, stronger border enforcement, protection of the Second Amendment, and pro-life policies.

Luna has also supported efforts targeting former Attorney General Merrick Garland and played a leading role in the successful resolution censuring former Rep. Adam Schiff. On spending, energy, and foreign policy, she has consistently aligned herself with the America First agenda.

At the same time, Luna has backed proposals that cut against the traditional Washington playbook, including term limits for members of Congress and restrictions on congressional stock trading. She has also advocated for proxy voting accommodations for new parents.

As one of the younger members of Congress, Luna has attempted to combine a confrontational approach to Washington politics with a focus on issues affecting veterans and working families in Florida’s 13th District.

Her unopposed route to the Republican nomination reflects the absence of a serious intra-party challenge and the strong standing she has maintained among Republican voters in the district.

With the GOP nomination now in hand, Trump’s endorsement behind her, and support from Republican leaders throughout the region, Luna enters the general election as one of Florida’s most prominent defenders of the America First agenda.

For Luna, the primary is now behind her. The next battle is the general election—and she is heading into it with the Republican Party’s most influential figure firmly in her corner.
