Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman sets up a fire alarm in the Cannon Building, resulting in a dramatic evacuation. Democrats wanted more time to evaluate the new CR at the time the incident took place.
“USCP criminal investigation unit is questioning Bowman,” Pergram took note. The Capitol Police is the USCP.
The aftermath was photographed by Marjorie Taylor Greene. “Fire alarm is going off in Cannon,” she said.
Greene requests that the DOJ take action against Bowman for suspected legal transgressions.
The Capitol Police post a picture of Bowman setting off the fire alarm.
According to Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s spokesperson, “did not realize he would trigger a building alarm” he activated the fire alarm. “The Congressman regrets any confusion,” she says.
Unsettling truth: Bowman’s justification is unconvincing. According to reliable sources with knowledge of the inquiry, he not only set off the fire alarm in the House, but he also callously tore down and threw away two notices before doing so, Breitbart News has learned.
These sources provided Breitbart News with photographic proof showing the incident’s aftermath and the harm done to the emergency escape door. Since then, the door has been fixed.

Two large red placards are clearly apparent in the photos that show the double doors with glass panes. It is written on both signs. “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY—PUSH UNTIL ALARM SOUNDS—DOOR WILL UNLOCK IN 30 SECONDS.”
Additionally, a stand-alone sign placed in front of the doors further emphasizes the fact that this section is for “EMERGENCY EXITS ONLY.”
As you enter, a large FIRE alarm sign on the wall to your left catches your eye. The directions are straightforward and unambiguous: “Push In, Pull Down” to activate it.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman is shown in a shocking photo setting off a fire alarm, but something is wrong! Learn about the surprising absence that has the country’s attention.
According to a trustworthy source, during a vote on the House Democrats’ motion to adjourn, Rep. Jamaal Bowman forcibly and nonchalantly removed emergency signage.
“He ripped both of them off the door and threw them both on the floor,” Breitbart News was informed by a person familiar with the inquiry.
“Then, he leaned into the door and tried to open it,” the source added. “Then, he pulled the fire alarm. When the alarm begins going off, he turned around and ran—going down to the first floor of Cannon and exited out of a different door then made his way across the street to votes. At no point did he say to anyone ‘sorry this is a mistake’ or ‘sorry I pulled the fire alarm by mistake’ or anything like that. He didn’t say anything to anyone until he was confronted by Capitol Police later. By doing what he did he caused a whole building to be evacuated. Capitol Police and emergency services need to treat any alarm like a real threat until they know otherwise.”
The official statement from Rep. Jamaal Bowman disputes these details. Bowman claimed to be using the door to leave, but a reputable source with knowledge of the situation claims that he did not observe the required 30-second waiting period. Furthermore, he disregarded the warnings on the emergency signs.
Later, Bowman disclosed to reporters: “I thought the alarm would open the door.”
Bowman, a former principal, adds knowledge with fire alarms. Rep. George Santos criticizes Bowman’s audacious action.
Due to the “incompetence and dysfunction” of House Republicans, Bowman warns of an impending federal shutdown.
In the eyes of the majority of voters, pulling a “fire alarm” would undoubtedly constitute as “incompetence and dysfunction.”
Many Americans are interested in finding out if Bowman will be held accountable for his allegedly illegal conduct, which would entail the crime of “disruption of an official proceeding,” and whether he, too, would be imprisoned for months without a trial while waiting for justice.
