Acting FBI Director Brian Driscoll is pushing back against demands from the Justice Department to reveal the identities of officials involved in the investigations surrounding the January 6th cases and probes into former President Donald Trump.
Driscoll, who took over as Acting Director while Trump’s nominee Kash Patel awaits confirmation, has reportedly resisted efforts to comply with the DOJ’s orders. According to reports, pressure is mounting inside the bureau as high-ranking officials face forced resignations or removals amid a sweeping overhaul.

FBI Shakeup Under Trump’s Leadership
The shakeup at the FBI has been swift and extensive. President Trump wasted no time in removing key figures from leadership, including the head of the Washington Field Office, David Sundberg. In total, 20 heads of FBI offices were dismissed, and reports indicate that as many as 88 officials were escorted out of their workplaces last week.
