Now, under a new executive order issued on January 23, 2025, Trump has again demanded full declassification. What emerged next stunned everyone.
Marc Caputo of Axios broke the bombshell news: the FBI has suddenly “discovered” an additional 2,400 pages of records tied to JFK’s murder that were never turned over to the National Archives.
“The FBI just discovered about 2,400 records tied to President Kennedy’s assassination that were never provided to a board tasked with reviewing and disclosing the documents,” Caputo reported.
The FBI quickly issued a statement attempting to downplay the revelation, claiming the records surfaced during a massive inventory project.
“In 2020, the FBI opened the Central Records Complex and began a multi-year effort to first ship and then electronically inventory and store closed case files from FBI field offices across the country,” the agency told the Daily Caller.
“The FBI conducted a new records search pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order issued on January 23, 2025, regarding the declassification of the assassination files of JFK, RFK, and MLK,” the statement added.
However, Trump’s inner circle isn’t buying the FBI’s excuse.
“When POTUS hears about this stonewalling, he’s gonna hit the roof,” a White House source told Caputo.
Another Trump ally didn’t hold back, calling out the Deep State directly.
“This is total Deep State bulls**t,” a senior official blasted.
A third advisor hinted that Trump’s next move could blow the lid off the cover-up.
“Don’t be surprised if all these records just suddenly wind up online,” the advisor told Caputo. “He wants to move on and call this a promise kept.”

The newly found documents could be explosive. According to Caputo, they include potentially damning evidence, such as recordings from mobster Carlos Marcello, who allegedly boasted about his role in JFK’s assassination.
Additionally, Caputo reports the files contain crucial CIA documents tied to George Joannides, a covert operations officer linked to a CIA-funded exile group that had interactions with Lee Harvey Oswald. Joannides allegedly misled a congressional committee by hiding his connection to Oswald.
