The Georgia Republican state senator who indicted the former president for suspected election tampering has started the impeachment process against the Fulton County prosecutor.
The move for an emergency session of the Georgia Legislature to “review the actions of Fani Willis” was made on Thursday by Senator Colton Moore of Georgia’s most northwest district.

Sen. Moore described his conduct in terrible terms in a tweet. “I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents,” he wrote.
In a letter to Governor Brian Kemp, a conservative lawmaker requests a special session immediately. Look below.
“…in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened… to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis,” the letter states.
Sen. Moore stated that in response to DA Willis’s biased investigation of the former president, he will also seek to revoke all funds for her office in addition to publicizing the letter. Additionally, he requested signatures on a petition to stop the “weaponization of our justice system at the expense of taxpayers.”
The new law passed in May by Governor Kemp makes it possible to impeach a state district attorney for poor law enforcement. At first, the bill was seen as an effort to stop Democratic prosecutors from failing to pursue abortion cases in accordance with the harsh state law. It might now be used to dismiss Willis, who has accused President Trump and 18 other people of crimes usually committed by organized crime figures.

Senator Moore is advocating for a ground-breaking change: the state legislature’s request that a Prosecuting Attorneys Statewide Qualifications Commission be established. Their key responsibility would be to thoroughly investigate Willis, which may result in her being fired from her position. Will Moore be successful in his endeavors?
The arraignment of President Trump is scheduled to take place in Fulton County. He will enter a not guilty plea to each accusation. The president’s mugshot, which would be the first of his four criminal charges, is something that the neighborhood sheriff has boldly promised to get. The most well-known image of the twenty-first century may well be this classic shot.
