Another familiar California restaurant has gone dark, and this time employees say they barely had a chance to process what was happening before their jobs disappeared.
Tahoe Joe’s Famous Steakhouse abruptly shut its Visalia restaurant on Sept. 21, leaving the once-expanding Central Valley chain with only two surviving locations.
For more than 30 employees, the announcement was particularly painful because there was virtually no time to prepare.
