What they didn’t mention? Omar was previously charged in a shocking case of criminal sexual conduct involving a minor—a fact now confirmed by local outlets including KIMT News 3 and KAALTV.
Court records show that in 2022, Omar—alongside another man, Mohamed Hussein Omer—was accused of engaging in sexual acts with a 16-year-old runaway who was in the state foster care system.
The girl told authorities she was assaulted by several men across Rochester after fleeing her foster placement in Farmington. When medical staff examined her, they found she was sleep-deprived, dehydrated, and hadn’t eaten in days.

Though disturbing, those charges were later dismissed in March 2025 by the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office—with prosecutors citing “the interest of justice.”
No further explanation has been given. And the public is left to wonder: What changed?
Meanwhile, Hendricks Is Raising Half a Million and Fighting for Her Family’s Life
As Omar’s past resurfaces, Hendricks is in full defense mode. She launched a GiveSendGo fundraiser that has now brought in nearly $500,000 from Americans who believe she’s been unfairly vilified.
On the fundraiser page, she wrote:
“My name is Shiloh and I have been put into a very dire situation… My SSN has been leaked. My address, and phone number have been given out freely. My family members are being attacked… We have been threatened to the extreme by people online.”
She added:
“We are currently doing okay. No one has been harmed… I don’t think I will feel safe until we can escape completely.”
Despite the threats and harassment, Hendricks has stood firm, claiming the boy in question stole her infant son’s diaper bag and that her response—while harsh—was provoked. Omar has denied the theft accusation but admitted he could not confirm what exactly happened, only saying he “couldn’t say with complete confidence” what the child grabbed.
Yet that didn’t stop the outrage mob. Rochester Mayor Kim Norton and local NAACP leaders immediately condemned Hendricks. The Rochester Police Department launched an investigation. Social media exploded with calls to “cancel” her, as screenshots of her home address and personal details spread like wildfire.
Both Sides Now Claim to Be Victims
Ironically, both Omar and Hendricks now say they’ve been doxxed and threatened since the video went viral.
Omar told KIMT:
“Kids at the park were frightened… the lady she was very angry and very loud, a lot of racial slurs… I’ve been getting death threats since the video went viral.”
But with Omar’s past now exposed, some are questioning why the media omitted these details while portraying him as an innocent whistleblower.

The Media’s Double Standard?
This explosive twist throws a spotlight on what many conservatives see as a glaring double standard in the media.
A mother, even if guilty of saying something horrible, is dragged through the mud, her life upended, her children put at risk. Meanwhile, the man filming it—whose past includes dropped but serious sex abuse allegations—gets a media pass and early praise.
In the rush to condemn Hendricks, did officials, journalists, and social justice warriors turn a blind eye to a more complex reality?
As this story unfolds, one thing is clear: when the media plays judge, jury, and executioner before all facts are known—truth becomes the first casualty.
