The fascinating montage that Meet The Press anchor Kristen Welker and CBS News host Lesley Stahl make is thanks to videographer Max Evans. Welker asserted that there was “without evidence” to back the accusation that the Trump campaign was spied on, while Stahl said there was “no evidence” to support the impeachment investigation into Joe Biden. Welker, who just took over for Chuck Todd as presenter of the venerable NBC program, battled often with Trump during last weekend’s interview. “He has said he’s had nothing to do with it, there is no proof of that,” In a notorious video footage, Biden boasted about firing Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, to which Welker responded. “Mr. President, you know there’s no proof of that.”
“The ballot stuffing that’s something that’s been, debunked,” At another point in the interview, Welker stated. Welker refuted Trump’s assertions more than ten times in total, consistently stating that there was “no evidence” to back up Trump’s allegations. “Well of course there’s no evidence that the president had any link to his son’s business dealings,” the host of Meet The Press remarked, ignoring bank records, IRS whistleblower comments, hours of sworn evidence from Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business partner.
The video montage jumps between excerpts from Trump’s Meet The Press interview and a 2020 interview with Leslie Stahl, in which the host erroneously said that the then-President Trump’s claims about the Russian collusion hoax lacked proof. Trump said during the notorious interview that “they spied on my campaign.” Stahl responded right away, “Well, we can’t verify that.”
After that, she threatened to cancel the interview, claiming that CBS couldn’t “put on things we can’t verify.” In addition, Stahl asserted that it is impossible to verify the information contained in the notorious Hunter Biden laptop, which is known to include hundreds of emails pertaining to the commercial activities of the Frist Son with foreign nationals.
“It can’t be verified,” Stahl said of the laptop. “It can’t be verified.”
