According to investigative journalist John Solomon, the January 19, 2016, meeting at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building was “one of the earliest documented efforts to build the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion narrative and one of the first to involve the Obama administration’s intervention.”
Solomon’s report confirms that Ciaramella chaired the meeting. He was joined by Liz Zentos, a familiar face from his inner circle.
While the official excuse for the gathering was “anti-corruption training,” attendees quickly learned that Washington’s interests were far more political in nature.
During these meetings, American officials allegedly encouraged Ukrainian counterparts to reignite investigations that would cast Trump associates in a negative light. One specific investigation the Obama DOJ wanted reopened involved Paul Manafort, a former Trump campaign chairman.
At the same time, they appeared keen on shutting down inquiries that might damage their own. Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy giant, was under scrutiny for shady financial dealings. The kicker? Hunter Biden was sitting on Burisma’s board, reportedly raking in hefty payments as a “consultant.”
Ukrainian official Nazar Kholodnytskyy confirmed the suspicious U.S. interest. He recalled how the infamous “black ledger”—a document implicating Manafort—suddenly surfaced in the press right after Manafort joined Trump’s team in spring 2016.
Ukrainian insider Andriy Telizhenko, who has repeatedly shared intel with The Gateway Pundit, attended the 2016 meeting. According to him, U.S. officials explicitly asked Ukraine to stand down on Burisma and let the FBI handle the case instead.
It is believed that FBI agents were present during that January 2016 meeting.
This wasn’t some rogue operation. It was a coordinated effort to weaponize foreign governments against a political rival and protect the Democrat establishment from exposure.
Giuliani dropped another bombshell during his Watters appearance. He claimed he had three witnesses who saw firsthand that Obama’s National Security Council members solicited damaging information on Trump from foreign actors—exactly what Democrats falsely accused Trump of during the Mueller probe.
“The Obama officials asked foreigners for dirty information on an American citizen (Donald Trump) who was going to be involved in a political campaign,” Giuliani said.
The deeper this story goes, the darker it gets. Documents and testimony now suggest a top USAID official may have played a key role in coordinating the scandal.
Eric Ciaramella, the CIA leaker tied to the first Trump impeachment, allegedly had a counterpart at USAID—Jonathan Katz. Not only is Katz co-author of Norm Eisen’s “Democracy Playbook,” but his work is based on Gene Sharp’s radical “color revolution” manual From Dictatorship to Democracy.
This isn’t conspiracy—it’s been confirmed. Homeland Security and the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee interviewed Liz Zentos in 2020, where these connections were outlined. Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger later uncovered CIA and USAID’s hidden fingerprints on the first Trump impeachment as well.
If this isn’t election interference, what is?
