In a bold and controversial move, former White House physician and current U.S. Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) has urged that President Joe Biden undergo testing for “performance enhancing drugs” prior to the upcoming presidential debate. Jackson, whose tenure at the White House spanned 14 years serving under Presidents Bush, Obama, and Trump, made these remarks amid rising concerns over the President’s cognitive abilities.
Representative Jackson, who also held the unique position of Chief Medical Adviser to President Trump, detailed his deep familiarity with the demands of the presidency in a recent interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. “During that time, I took care of all three of the presidents and, you know, on a day to day basis. I also, you know, I also was the director of the White House Medical Unit and the appointed physician to the president for both Obama and Trump. So I kind of feel like I know exactly what’s required on a day-to-day basis, both mentally and physically, to do the job of president of the United States,” Jackson shared.
