Sadly, beloved actor Mike Nussbaum, who was best remembered for his parts in “Field of Dreams” and “Men in Black,” has yesterday at the age of 99.

According to The New York Post:
Days before turning 100, respected philosopher Nussbaum passes away quietly at home.
“He was a good father and a good man who raised us to care about other people and respect other people and care about justice,” Karen told the AP.
The League of Chicago Theaters presented acclaimed stage and film actor Nussbaum with a distinguished lifetime achievement award in 2019. Being the most senior member of Actors’ Equity at the time, he was praised.
Heartfelt condolences poured across social media from celebrities and fans.
Film critics also expressed their opinions.

Recalling the Devoted First Wife and Daughter of Nussbaum, Annette Brenner unfortunately passed away in 2003 after providing her husband with 56 years of love and friendship. Three children, labor leader Jack, gifted playwright/novelist Susan, and labor leader Karen, were reared by them in a lovely household. Tragically, Susan’s life was taken in 2022 at the age of 68 due to pneumonia. Let’s pay tribute to them and the enduring influence they had on Nussbaum’s life.
