Calling someone a “Nazi” — particularly a public figure who’s repeatedly condemned the ideology — is not only reckless, it’s legally dangerous. Musk, who has previously denounced extremism of all forms, isn’t letting it slide this time.
Shortly after Bowman’s remarks went viral, Musk responded on X, the platform he owns:
“I’ve had enough. Lawsuit inbound.”
It’s not the first time Musk has been falsely smeared by the media and Democrat operatives. Just recently, a deceptively edited clip circulated online that appeared to show him performing a Nazi salute at a Trump rally. In reality, full video from the event shows Musk pointing to someone in the crowd and then raising his fist — a far cry from what leftist commentators claimed.
Even the Anti-Defamation League — which is no friend to many on the Right — publicly debunked the narrative, confirming that the claim about a Nazi salute was false. Yet the smear campaign continued, amplified by a media complex eager to destroy anyone associated with Donald Trump or conservative causes.

Bowman’s outburst is just the latest example of the Left’s increasingly unhinged strategy: when you can’t win on policy, go scorched-earth on your opponents’ reputations. Label them as racists, Nazis, or extremists — no matter how baseless the claim. But this time, they might have gone too far.
