The owner of X and SpaceX, Elon Musk, dismissed the decision in Trump’s civil fraud case, raising doubts about the identity of the purported victim given that all of the funds given to him were paid back with interest.
The former was ruled responsible in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ civil complaint against Trump and his corporations, which was a very predictable move. Following the conclusion of a protracted legal battle spearheaded by an attorney general who ran on a platform of “getting Trump,” Trump was mandated to “pay back” more than $350 million.

Musk answered in an X post with a straightforward query. “Given that there were no victims with losses, who is supposed to receive the money?” asked Musk.
Musk has expressed concerns on many occasions on the politicization of the legal system in states managed by Democrats and the Biden Administration.
