Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, launched a blistering attack on FEMA, accusing the federal agency of deliberately blocking humanitarian aid in the aftermath of a major disaster in North Carolina. Musk claimed that FEMA’s interference is preventing SpaceX engineers from delivering critical resources to devastated areas via Starlink technology.
Musk expressed his outrage on X, formerly known as Twitter, revealing that his team has been actively working to restore communication and deliver supplies in Asheville, NC, but have faced significant obstruction from FEMA. SpaceX engineers have already deployed over 300 Starlink terminals and set up two major bases for helicopter deliveries of essential goods. Despite this, Musk says FEMA is actively seizing shipments and preventing further aid from reaching those in need.
