Now, after just 130 days heading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk is heading back to Texas—and he’s not going quietly.
In a parting interview with CBS News, Musk pulled back the curtain on his experience wrangling federal dysfunction, describing it as a surreal lesson in how deeply entrenched Washington waste has become.
“My frank opinion of the government is that it’s like the DMV that got big,” Musk told CBS correspondent David Pogue.
