Ellen DeGeneres’s lavish countryside estate in the United Kingdom has fallen victim to extreme flooding, just weeks after the former talk show host relocated overseas. The move to the Cotswolds with her wife, Portia de Rossi, followed their announcement of leaving the United States after Donald Trump’s election victory.
The couple’s sprawling 43-acre property, purchased for several million pounds, was inundated after Storm Bert swept through the region. The torrential rains caused a tributary of the River Thames to overflow, leaving parts of the estate submerged in several feet of water.

Images circulating online show the extent of the damage, with parts of Ellen’s estate engulfed in water. While the couple likely envisioned tranquil days in their picturesque English farmhouse, the reality has been far from idyllic.
