When President Joe Biden visited East Palestine, Ohio, the locals did not take kindly to him. Rather than the customary cordial greeting, he was greeted with jeers and placards that said, quite clearly, “Too Little, Too Late.”
The small town of East Palestine is receiving national attention because its residents felt abandoned when they were in need. The community feels that political agendas have taken precedence over their concerns and that the administration has been slow to respond to their crises.

Many of the locals, who have lived there for many generations, expressed their extreme dissatisfaction with the president’s visit by chanting, “Let’s go, Brandon!”echoing through the street.
Since the natural disaster that followed the derailment of the Norfolk Southern train in February 2023, this was Biden’s first visit to East Palestine.

Friday’s unrest was accompanied by calls for a return to leadership that puts the interests of the United States first.
