Former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile is coming under fire from presenter Bill Maher of HBO’s “Real Time” for often mispronouncing Vivek Ramaswamy’s name.
“Vivek needs to just shut the hell up,” stated Donna Brazile on Friday’s “Real Time” panel alongside former Representative Adam Kinzinger.

“I’m Donna, is it Vivake Ramasama? … Vivek needs to go home.”
“I just feel like there’s something wrong with everyone refusing to learn his name,” Bill Maher said. “I just feel there’s a little racism there… I know we don’t like him but say his name right… It is Vivek because I heard him do a rap and he said it rhymes with cake. This is what the CNN audience needs to know.”
The presidential contender for 2024 strikes back at Brazile’s remarks.
“I wonder what they’d do if a white Republican intentionally mispronounced Donna’s name & then told her to return ‘home’,” He added an emoji of laughter to what he stated.
Not everyone, though, thought it funny.
“It’s not a little racist,” cited attorney Harmeet Dhillon. “It’s just racist.”

“It was racist if you mentioned Obama’s middle name,” Says Zeek Arkham. “It was racist if you pronounced ‘Kamala’ incorrectly. It was even racist if you didn’t like ‘The Squad.’ But if Donna Brazile, who is already known as a morally reprehensible person, intentionally pronounces Vivek Ramaswamy’s name incorrectl[y], it’s somehow okay. Let’s use Leftist logic on this one: where are the ‘good’ Leftists condemning this? Why isn’t there outrage? Why hasn’t this woman been checked by the powers that be on her side? Or maybe they’re okay with it all, just like they’re okay with racism towards people like Ben Carson and Clarence Thomas.”
“Donna Brazile says Vivek Ramaswamy (whose name she completely butchers on purpose) needs to ‘go home,” Ian Miles Cheong remarked. “He was born in America. Nice racism.”
If a Democrat says something racist, is that racism? Is there a unique clause in place that gives extreme leftists the freedom to offend anybody they want?
