Florida’s race for governor is entering its final month, and Vice President J.D. Vance just made clear that the White House is putting its political muscle behind Republican nominee Byron Donalds.
Donalds emerged from Florida’s August 18 Republican primary with 47.8% of the vote, earning the nomination in a crowded 11-candidate field.
He will face Democratic nominee David Jolly on November 3 in the contest to replace term-limited Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.
