Everyone was unprepared for Donald Trump’s 2024 decision.

Former President Donald Trump has previously relied on Fox News to help him effectively promote his ideas.

A seismic shift in the media environment has resulted from Fox News’ decision to fire Tucker Carlson.

The resignation of Carlson is more proof of the network’s growing hostility against the Trump movement.

Rupert Murdoch, the head of Fox, is opposed to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Murdoch’s media empire, which includes well-known periodicals like the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post, is also veering away from a cordial relationship with the former Commander-in-Chief.

Trump is changing his media strategy in reaction to a poor relationship with Fox News in order to better manage the current situation.

When the former president held a town hall discussion with CNN, a longtime foe, he caused quite a commotion.

Trump is expanding his footprint beyond the typical conservative sources as part of his new media strategy, and this is only the beginning.

Trump needs to win back independent voters who do not support the Republican party if he is to win the presidency. He is thereby increasing his appeal to a wider audience.

The Messenger was the audience member with whom President Trump had his first town hall interview since leaving CNN.

“I’m doing a lot of different media. I was disappointed with Fox,” Trump said. “I thought the firing of Tucker [Carlson] was a tremendous mistake. I was very disappointed. And of course, I was disappointed with the coverage of the [2020 presidential] election, in particular, the early call in Arizona.”

Trump restricts his media presence after the 2020 election to outlets that support him.

According to Nielsen, the CNN town hall that he moderated did better than both Fox News and MSNBC during the 8:00pm time period and won easily among the important 25-54 age demographic.

Trump defended his campaign and emphasized how it continually boosts media ratings in response to suggestions that he should give up on the 2020 election.

“Even if they say they’re not going to. They tried not to in 2020. I did much better in 2020 than I did in 2016. And people hate to write that. But I got millions more votes in 2020 than I did in 2016,” Trump said.

Because the former president was given a platform at the most recent CNN town hall event, it alarmed Democratic party members and their media allies.

CNN employees reportedly felt “traumatized” by Trump’s actions during the most recent town hall, according to reports.

“I was amazed to see that they were traumatized by what took place. They were actually traumatized,” Mr. Trump said. “They should have said, ‘We had a tremendous ratings night, one of the best in years, many years,’ and spiked the football.”

In order to prepare for the forthcoming 2024 election, he has been forced to broaden his media strategy due to the conflict between Fox News and the previous president Trump.
