This week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has been under fire from President Donald Trump due to rumors that he will challenge him in the 2024 Republican primary, publicly declares his appreciation for the late president via the publication of a biography.
This Tuesday will see the publication of Governor Ron DeSantis’ new book, “The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival.” In its pages, the Governor upholds conservative ideals as crucial cornerstones of a successful future in American politics and maintains his opposition to Critical Race Theory. According to extracts from the book that were published by The Daily Wire, DeSantis criticizes well-known Republicans like George W. Bush and Paul Ryan because he feels that they have impeded party growth while being a member of what he perceives as an oppressive establishment class.

“Some DC commentators have opined that Donald Trump’s nomination represented a hostile takeover of the Republican Party. But this analysis gets it exactly backward,” DeSantis wrote. “Since Ronald Reagan flew back to California on January 20, 1989, the GOP grassroots had been longing for someone who rejected the old-guard way of doing business and who could speak to their concerns and aspirations. Trump supported policies that appealed to the base in a way that GOP leaders in the DC swamp had been either incapable of doing or unwilling to do.”
Trump’s star power as a business magnate and TV personality may have contributed to his triumph over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, according to DeSantis’ book.
At a moment that is predominantly characterized by partisanship, Governor DeSantis emphasized party unity and the need of supporting any GOP nominee, noting media outlets’ use of Russia connection conspiracy theories to “undermine” President Trump’s position. He stresses how crucial it is for Republicans to unite in the run-up to what may be one of the most important elections ever.
After winning by a landslide, Governor DeSantis was re-elected to office in Florida last year, an accomplishment he attributes in part to former President Trump. He claims that Mr. Trump’s backing “significantly increased” his name recognition and standing among voters statewide, which helped him win the 2018 race.
“I knew that a Trump endorsement would provide me with the exposure to GOP primary voters across the State of Florida, and I was confident that many would see me as a good candidate once they learned about my record,” DeSantis wrote. “I had developed a good relationship with the president largely because I supported his initiatives in Congress and opposed the Russia collusion conspiracy theory.”
Governor DeSantis said last month that he would consider running for the GOP nomination, demonstrating his willingness to make a significant political move.
Reporters grilled Governor DeSantis as he was at a campaign event in Jacksonville recently to discuss the hot topic of tort reform. most important of them? Nikki Haley, a former UN ambassador, recently declared her intention to run, which naturally sparked conjecture about whether our governor might be next in line. It feels like Florida politics is in an interesting period right now!
“Nikki Haley announced her presidential run today, do you plan on following suit?” the reporter asked.
“Hahaha! Wouldn’t you like to know,” DeSantis laughed in response.
Sarah Palin, who also campaigned for President in 2008 with the late John McCain, has given Florida Governor Ron DeSantis advice to support Donald Trump as the Republican Party’s candidate in 2024. This follows Trump’s declaration of intent, which was made public last year.
In a Newsmax interview with Eric Bolling, Palin commented on the rumors that DeSantis would upset the GOP primary by running for president against Trump in 2024. As both major figures started their separate campaigns in November of last year, it seems as if a compelling conflict may be developing between them.
“Do you think DeSantis jumps in?” Bolling enquired of Palin.
“DeSantis doesn’t need to,” Palin replied. “I envision him as our president someday, but not right now. Everybody I speak with in Florida, they all love him. And he does set the tone for, I’d say every other governor in the nation. I think he’s our best governor and he should stay governor for a bit longer. He’s young. You know he has decades ahead of him where he can be our president.”
“Trump needs to choose somebody who, like him, has nothing to lose. What more can they do to that person personally or verbal attacks or anything else on the family? That person has been through the wringer, so they know what they’re getting into. And that person then can just focus on doing what’s right for the people,” Palin said.

Yeah I think Ron Should hold off On running for president In 2024 I can see him being president after that But trump needs to get in again And make America great again again Ron needs the back trump
