DeSantis: FBI Hiding Key Details in Trump Assassination Probe?

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

DeSantis was adamant that the state’s authority supersedes federal jurisdiction in this case due to the nature of the alleged crimes. He explained that the suspect, Ryan Routh, is believed to have committed violations of state law across several judicial circuits, including those in Palm Beach, Martin, and Broward counties. The governor pointed out that attempted murder—considered the most serious offense in this case—falls squarely under state law.

He vowed to ensure transparency throughout the investigation and stressed that Florida law enforcement would work quickly to gather and preserve all relevant evidence. “We have a duty to investigate this. We have a duty to bring the appropriate charges, and we also have a duty to inform the public about how this happened,” he said.

In a subsequent appearance on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle, DeSantis further criticized the FBI, stating that state investigators had been blocked from accessing even basic crime scene details. “Our investigators were rebuffed just going to the fence line outside of Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach,” he told host Laura Ingraham. “I think they’ve taken the position that they don’t want the state of Florida to be involved in this.”

DeSantis expressed concern over the FBI’s handling of the case, noting that the agency had quickly labeled the suspect as a “lone wolf” without thoroughly examining alternative possibilities. He echoed widespread public skepticism regarding the FBI’s conclusions in this and previous attempts on Trump’s life.

In response to Ingraham’s question about the FBI’s hasty dismissal of the attacker’s motives, DeSantis said that the public has every reason to doubt these quick judgments. “Yeah, I don’t think the public has confidence when that is being done,” he remarked. DeSantis emphasized the importance of preserving evidence, particularly the suspect’s digital footprint, which he feared could be deleted by social media platforms like Facebook.

According to DeSantis, investigators need to establish how Routh ended up in Florida, what his motives were, and whether he had any affiliations or beliefs that might have contributed to the alleged assassination attempt. “We need to know how he ended up in Florida to begin with. What is the pathway this guy has taken to end up in those bushes trying to assassinate the former President of the United States and current Republican nominee?” DeSantis questioned.

DeSantis also expressed broader concerns about federal agencies like the FBI, citing other unresolved cases such as the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. He indicated that Florida’s investigation would not only focus on the facts of the attempted assassination but also delve into the suspect’s motives and associations to ensure transparency.

In her interview, Ingraham echoed the concerns of many Americans, expressing relief that the state of Florida was stepping in to investigate. “The FBI has shredded its own credibility,” she said, praising DeSantis for his decision to pursue an independent inquiry.

As tensions between state and federal authorities escalate, many will be closely watching how this investigation unfolds. Governor DeSantis’ call for transparency and his pushback against federal interference have resonated with those questioning the FBI’s role and intentions in this high-profile case. Whether the state’s investigation can shed new light on the attempted assassination remains to be seen.

  1. There is NO WAY this guy was a lone wolf! Mr. Trump’s calendar did not show him playing golf that day. Very few people knew Trump would be on the golf course that day. Trump, his golfing partner and the Secret Service were the ONLY ones that knew he would be on that golf course. Yet, the phone company, by the location of his phone, put him there for over 12 hours before Trump showed up. So, how did the shooter get that information? SOMEONE IN THE SECRET SERVICE IS A RAT. SOMEONE IN THE SECRET SERVICE TIPPED THE SHOOTER OFF, THAT TRUMP WAS GOING TO BE THERE! THE US GOVERNMENT IS COLLUDING WITH ASSASSINS TO SILENCE TRUMP! There is NO OTHER EXPLANATION!
