Democrats PANIC After GOP Blows Whistle!

Tensions are heating up in New Jersey as local Republicans accuse Democrat election officials in Passaic County of stonewalling crucial ballot security reforms just weeks before the November 4 general election. The clash could soon head to court — and may expose yet another battleground in the fight over election integrity.

Republicans Demand Transparency and Speed

The Passaic County Republican Organization (PCRO) says it has had enough of the county’s sluggish and opaque vote-counting process. The group filed a formal request urging the Board of Elections to adopt new measures designed to safeguard ballots and accelerate counting.

Among the proposed changes: installing security cameras inside ballot storage areas, enforcing a two-party lock system to restrict access, and stationing a sheriff’s officer on-site 24 hours a day.

“These are not radical reforms,” said Mark Semeraro, counsel for the PCRO. “They are common-sense safeguards employed by other counties in New Jersey. Bergen and Essex do this and tabulate their election results without delay, unlike Passaic County.”

Republicans also called for Passaic County to begin opening and canvassing mail-in ballots five days before Election Day — a policy already in use across several other counties to prevent late reporting.
