The mask is slipping again—and this time it’s Zohran Mamdani lighting the match.
A resurfaced video clip of the far-left New York City councilman and mayoral hopeful is sending shockwaves through political circles as he openly advocates for abolishing private property to implement government-controlled universal housing. And yet, Democrats are still bending over backwards to paint him as some kind of moderate.

Incredibly, Rep. Mark Takano (D-CA), who met with Mamdani just this week, claimed with a straight face, “The overall impression on me was, this guy is not a communist. He’s not a socialist. He’s an advocate for small-c capitalism.” Takano even went so far as to say, “He really is fighting for the little business guy that’s trying to eek out a living in New York,” adding, “Half of all New Yorkers get their jobs from small business.”
