Democrats are in full meltdown mode after former President Donald Trump officially put his name on the Kennedy Center.
Now, Ohio Democrat Joyce Beatty is pleading with a federal judge to remove it — and the court’s reaction isn’t going her way.
Beatty’s Lawsuit Hits a Wall
The Kennedy Center wasn’t exactly thriving before Trump’s arrival. Ticket sales had plunged, and the programming had shifted heavily into political theater — Pride events, woke productions, and the typical left-wing arts agenda.
Trump stepped in, dismissed the old board, installed new leadership, and revived the struggling institution. He even hosted the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors personally — the first president in history to do so — celebrating American icons like Sylvester Stallone, KISS, and Gloria Gaynor.
In December, the board voted to add Trump’s name to the building. By the next morning, it was already on the facade.
Beatty, an ex officio board member, claims she was muted during the vote and couldn’t object. She now wants a federal judge to erase the name.
