Freshman Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, recently upgraded from the House, is throwing cold water on the idea of replacing Schumer with someone even further left. In Slotkin’s eyes, fiery rhetoric is cheap — what matters is actually getting something done.

That’s not exactly AOC’s strong suit.
The Bronx firebrand has joined forces with self-proclaimed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders for a nationwide “Fighting Oligarchy” tour — an event that sounds more like a college protest than a serious political movement. The tour’s main purpose? Preach to the far-left choir and pretend their 2024 defeat never happened.
