A tragic confrontation outside a South Florida Walmart has left a decorated military veteran dead after what authorities say began as a disagreement over a parking space. The broad daylight shooting, captured by both a Tesla camera and a witness’s cell phone, has sparked outrage as investigators continue examining whether the gunfire was legally justified.
According to authorities, 62-year-old Bart Diguglielmo was shot Tuesday afternoon outside a Walmart in North Lauderdale during a dispute involving a parking spot. Despite being unarmed, Diguglielmo suffered a gunshot wound that ultimately claimed his life.
The woman who fired the weapon has not been publicly identified. She has reportedly told investigators that she acted in self-defense, a claim that remains under investigation. Officials have not announced any criminal charges as the case continues to unfold.
