Democrats continue to churn out new melodramas over border enforcement—and Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz just dropped a bizarre bombshell that’s raising more eyebrows than sympathy.
On Saturday, Wasserman Schultz visited the migrant detention facility built on the sprawling wilderness of the Florida Everglades, officially known as the Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport. Locals, however, have given it a far more colorful nickname: “Alligator Alcatraz.”
During the tour, the Florida Democrat couldn’t wait to run to the cameras, denouncing conditions inside the facility. She painted a grim picture of detainees living in squalor, describing a scene that sounded more like a medieval dungeon than a secure holding center for illegal immigrants.
