“Willis and Wade claim they did not have a personal, romantic relationship before Willis appointed Wade as a special prosecutor, but Terrence Bradley (‘Bradley’) will refute that claim,” According to the Daily Caller, Ashleigh Merchant, Roman’s attorney, stated in the complaint.
“Bradley is an attorney and a member of the Georgia Bar. Bradley and Wade were friends and business associates. Bradley has non-privileged, personal knowledge that the romantic relationship between Wade and Willis began before Willis being sworn as the district attorney for Fulton County, Georgia, in January 2021,” The publication said the filing was still ongoing.

Two previously unannounced excursions that Wade and Willis took together—a December 2022 Bahamas cruise and a March 2023 trip to Belize—were also mentioned by Merchant in the filing on Friday.
When defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant questioned Willis during her testimony last week, the two became agitated over allegations that Willis kept up to $15,000 in cash at her house, which she claimed she used to reimburse Wade for half of the trip expenses—and which left no paper trail. As a result, McAfee was forced to call for a five-minute break during the hearing.
Upon being questioned about Wade’s visit to her home, Willis become combative and started presenting papers as proof that the charges were false.
“So let’s be clear ’cause you lied in this … let me tell you which one you lied in … Right here. I think you lied right here.” Raising the documents, Willis said.
An unidentified male also started talking over her, so the judge pounded the gavel and tried to stop her.
“No, no, no, this is the truth,” she exclaimed. “It is a lie! It is a lie!”
Following the five-minute interval, McAfee urged the two lawyers to cease “talking over one another” and forewarned Willis, “We have to listen to the questions as asked… and if this happens again and again, I’m going to have no choice but to strike your testimony.”
