Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a former top official in the Obama administration, appeared on MSNBC and dropped a bombshell: Biden probably had cancer when he first took office in 2021. The implication? The American people were kept in the dark while Biden’s health rapidly deteriorated behind the scenes.
Yet despite growing signs of cognitive and physical decline, Biden’s White House doctor, Kevin O’Connor, told the nation last year that the President was “fit for duty.” Tellingly, the official report omitted a cognitive exam—raising eyebrows even further.
Now, Comer’s investigation is determined to dig into these contradictions.
A new book titled Original Sin—authored by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson—is adding fuel to the fire. The exposé claims that Biden’s inner circle, including First Lady Jill Biden, Hunter Biden, and key aides, operated like a shadow government—a “politburo” that shielded Biden from scrutiny while making critical decisions behind closed doors.
Comer didn’t hold back when asked who was really calling the shots.
“They’re behind the scenes. They fly under the radar. These are the unelected bureaucrats that we believe had an overwhelming influence over Joe Biden and could have possibly been serving as de facto Presidents of the United States,” Comer said.
The Oversight Committee isn’t playing games. Comer made it clear that if those involved don’t cooperate voluntarily, subpoenas are coming.
“The first step to issue a successful subpoena is to offer someone an invitation, a sincere request to come in and answer questions. If they do not, the next step will be the subpoenas,” Comer said.
This new congressional probe will begin with requests for transcribed interviews and depositions. And Comer assured Watters that his committee is just getting started.
“We’re going to bring these people in for depositions and transcribed interviews, and we’re going to ask every question that a good journalist like yourself, Jesse, would ask,” he said. “The American people want to know this. Momentum’s on our side. New evidence has emerged just in the last few days, and I think that all eyes will be watching this new investigation by the House Oversight Committee.”
While Republicans ramp up the investigation, Democrats are frantically trying to shift attention away from Biden’s presidency as they seek a new path heading into the next election cycle. But this investigation threatens to drag Biden’s scandalous health cover-up back into the spotlight—at the worst possible time.
One thing is clear: this isn’t just about Joe Biden’s personal health. This is about the American people being misled, about a possible breach of public trust, and about finding out who was really pulling the strings inside the Oval Office.
Comer’s message is simple—Americans deserve the truth, and he intends to deliver it.
