House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is escalating his investigation into the Biden administration, alleging that federal officials may have worked behind the scenes with a prominent gun control organization before a major lawsuit was filed against firearm manufacturer Glock.
According to newly released correspondence from Comer, the Kentucky Republican is demanding records from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) after uncovering what he believes is a troubling sequence of events involving the Biden White House, anti-gun activists, and litigation targeting one of America’s most recognizable firearm companies.
At the center of the controversy is a private meeting held inside the White House in late 2023.
